Kingdom of Merriment

So, this here is part of a project of mine I'm working on for Digital Design as our teacher recently got the art of Quilling. With this, we end up having to go along with her crazy ideas but I honestly liked the idea of having a project which wasn't based on solely the use of Adobe Software to create. I mean, it definitely is different compared to most classwork (more of it is leaning towards InDesign and Production work at the moment) and stands out.

Assignment: Pick something and make an advertisement for it.

My choice really is more focused on the Circus in general but since I had to choose I chose Ringling. As for what is Quilling, it is the art of manipulating pieces of paper into art-work. Of course it is used primarily for scrap-booking but no one said it couldn't be put to use for a Portfolio for advertising. I would like to mention that it's better to do it with Quilling paper, and that my piece isn't the best sample of how amazing this art-work can be. The fire is an example of what you can do but for amazing examples I'd search more of the web for "Quilling"
