Where is my freedom

Perhaps, I'm a bit naive, but I imagined when you visit the ruins of Pompei you'd see them in the spot they were found. Yet, you found them all just piled in cases, and shelves reading "Do not touch". These are preserved bodies, and most museums would do this anyway, but....the thought of just keeping them in a glass case like that..is odd to me.....

Perhaps i'm weird if I don't like dead bodies to be in a display case :/
